Workforce Development

SEAT IEC assists the community by providing access to workforce training. The Virgin Islands are reliant on tourism. Training in soft skills such as customer service (whether in person, phone or email) are essential to managing customer relationships and integral to the maintenance of tourism and other industries.  Other types of training such as understanding the basics of software programs such as Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); leadership training; employee management and disaster planning/resiliency training are also provided.

Financial Literacy Training

SEAT IEC provides individuals in the community with training on  efficient and effective ways to manage their finances. Budget planning; building, understanding and maintaining good credit and learning effective ways to save are just some of the essential skills that are imparted. We will equip individuals with the financial tools that will help them to break out of the cycle of poverty. Financial literacy is integral to starting and maintaining a successful business.
